The New Life School of Worship is a nine-month program composed of three class modules and a three-week intensive. Throughout the duration of the program, students will also complete Ministry Fulfillments. Additionally, students will take private lessons during the class modules. Students will be evaluated on the basis of class participation and intensive grades, private lessons performance, and the completion of Ministry Fulfillments. Lessons are taken during the ten weeks of each class module. The New Life School of Worship will provide the students with a pre-approved list of qualified instructors, and all students will take lessons from these individuals.
Other Local Churches and Ministries: In the course of a year, students may be called to serve in worship at another local church in the community. Colorado Springs is home to many churches and ministries: Focus on the Family, Compassion International, Every Home for Christ, Biblica, the Navigators... just to name a few. Students are welcome to serve or volunteer at another local church or any para-church ministry gaining experience in a field of choice, beginning in January. For those from the city who are currently serving at a local church, alternative arrangements may be made to fulfill your requirements for local church involvement.
