The dress code for the New Life School of Worship is simple; we ask that your attire be neat, tasteful, modest, and conservative, regardless of the latest fashion. At
Sunday Morning Services
Both men and women should dress their very best. Dressy, dark jeans without holes or fraying are permitted for Sunday morning services. *Note: Students must meet the Sunday morning dress requirements for the New Life Worship Choir (when different from the normal dress code).
Men: Dress shirt (collared and/or button down), nice jeans or slacks. Dress shoes. No flip-flops or tennis shoes. No shorts. No tank tops.
Women: Dress or blouse with dressy jeans, slacks or skirt (skirts must be to the knees or longer, even when wearing leggings). Blouses should have moderate neck lines and should be loose-fitting. Dress shoes. No flip-flops or tennis shoes. No shorts. No tank tops. No strapless shirts or dresses.
Men: Nice jeans or slacks and nice shirts. No flip-flops. No shorts. T-shirts with any type of printed words on them may not be worn. No sweat shirts (pullovers) or sweat pants. Zip-up jackets are permitted. No tank tops.
Women: Nice jeans, slacks or skirts (no higher than 2" above the knee when standing or sitting) worn with nice shirts, dressy t-shirts or blouses. No shorts. T-shirts with any type of printed words on them may not be worn. It is not necessary to tuck shirts in, but they do need to be appropriate in length, so as to not expose your midriff. No sweat shirts (pullovers) or sweat pants. Zip-up jackets are permitted. Nothing tight and no tank tops. No strapless shirts or dresses. Sandals may be worn, but no flip-flops.
No hats, ball caps or bandanas. Beanies may be worn to class, but they must be removed during class. This applies to both genders.
Abiding by the guidelines of personal appearance, students should reflect cleanliness, organization and discipline. Your off campus wardrobe should match this objective. Use your good judgement in selecting appropriate, dignified attire for the occasion.
*There will be consequences for non-compliance with the NLSW dress code.
